Citizens Bank Sells to Landmark Bank

On Tuesday, the Tribune provided initial coverage of the sale of Citizens Bank.  This is an important story in Fort Scott that affects many, so let's hope for continued coverage.

The Manns have been major employers in our community for many years, as well as engaged and generous civic leaders.  We need young leaders and business owners who will follow their example - using their skills, imagination, and resources to make a difference in Fort Scott.

On the down side, of course, many of our friends and neighbors wait anxiously to hear whether they will have jobs when the transition takes place.
